Hospital beds that can turn into coffins for coronavirus patients being made by Colombian factory
A design factory in Colombia is making biodegradable, cardboard hospital beds that can be turned into a coffin if the patient passes away. These dual-purpose beds are designed for coronavirus patients. Coronavirus can only survive on cardboard for 24 hours. It can live on plastic and metal for up to three days. The design of the bed means that medical staff do not have to move the patient's body, so reduce the risk of transmission of the disease.
